Student Council

Initiated by students themselves, the student council has grown to over 50 fifth graders. They meet monthly during our activity period, and sometimes during our cafe time at recess. The students focus on supporting three areas- the staff at NCS, the students at NCS and the community. They just completed a towel/blanket drive which ended up being the largest donation the BVSPCA has ever received.

Intermediate Musical News!

This year, the NCS Intermediate School is going to revisit the VERY FIRST musical that NCS students ever performed (2008)! Students will present the musical "The Castaways" on March 22-23, 2024! "The Castaways" is a moving story that tells about the struggles that immigrant children went through on the streets of New York City in the early 1900s. It is a production that raises awareness about homelessness and will be combined with a food-drive to help the homeless in our community.

Auditions for the musical will take place after the Winter Break. More information will be coming out in December, so check the weekly bulletin and updates from Mrs. Browne for audition information and sign ups!
